Male Llamas

Male Llamas at Felicity Acres

We think llamas should be attractive, have good conformation, and above all else, should be easy and fun to be around.  We hope some of these pictures can give you an idea of what our llamas are like.
Magic Kisses Dennis' Mother (unrehearsed)

When Dennis' mom was visiting we brought one of our future herdsires over for her to take for a walk.  Magic walked right up to her and gave her a little kiss.

Magic and his stablemate, as well as nearly constant companion, Santana, are perfect gentleman.  They will spar with each other but won't hurt their good friend.  Here you can see them hanging out in a stall together.  They were waiting for shearing.  Santana, on the left, is always seen with a piece of hay sticking out of his mouth.

After shearing, all of the boys go out into the middle pasture to frolic in their new summer clothes!!Boys Celebrate after Shearing

In the picture below you see the boys quietly grazing in our middle pasture.   We like to keep the llamas in groups because they like to be in a herd environment.  This grouping has two geldings and two intact males.
